Is the SARS CoV-2 a "Childhood disease" ?
I started thinking about this after the Santa Clara Study and the Sweden experiment.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/17/health/santa-clara-coronavirus-infections-study/index.html Chicken-Pox, Mumps, Measles are all very dangerous to adults. It was why, before vaccines, it was important to be infected as children. So we would be protected for our lives. Is SARS CoV-2 just another one of these? It does not seem to blow up in most children to a full on COVID-19 disease. Adults who contract it, especially the elderly, seem to be affected the worst, the older you get. If it is as "wide spread" as the Santa Clara study indicates, maybe it is a "chicken pox" where most people get it, and just become immune without many/any symptoms. Thoughts?

Interesting and maybe - though easier to expose kids when their parents are already immune

possible
no real data to operate on yet tho, but we'll find out eventually (assuming all low level infections generate persistent antibodies...) |

Interesting article on Measles. Mortality is 1 in 1000. If the Santa Clara data is correct, then SARS-CoV-2 may be in the same universe. The obvious difference is SARS-CoV-2 is new and there is no adult immunity over the generations.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/05/health/how-measles-kills-explainer/index.html I was born before most of the childhood vaccines were available. I had Measles, Mumps (both sides!) and German Measles, before I was three. Parents used to have "chicken-pox" parties, to purposely infect their kids. So most had it by the time they were 3. And that was the one I missed. At 48, I had to be given the "shingles" vaccine.

The same is true for many diseases, maybe even most.
