Art imitates life: Big Bang Theory - Sheldon Cooper had bus pants when he took the bus. I live in the city and use bus and train to go into the heart of the city. When it is late at night, I Uber home. I'm re-thinking all of this.

I've used the mass transit in NYC and DC...once in SF (just to ride a cable car) and in SD to get to the border. They run virtually empty here...taxpayer paid Uber rides would be a helluva lot cheaper and better imo.

SFO is super crowded at rush hour - both Muni & BART

and rush hour is the real reason why you put in mass transit


But, it is also a good way to get infected during an outbreak

tele-commuting & autonomous vehicles might kill transit in many areas; the virus might speed that up
