KJU's grandfather rose to power obviously by directing the military. If there is a transition to civilian rule, then it'll be fascinating to watch. In any case there is a possibility of a new regime in NK, which alone makes these extraordinary times. We would be dusting off contingency plans about now, including trying to take out the nukes.
