I liken Yellowstone to a Mafia Western. A very powerful family that you do not **** with. If you do, you end up dead, and your business destroyed. It is their way, and only their way!

I do enjoy their take no **** attitude.

Josh Holloway's character (snake-bit man) was the one who hired/paid the old cowboy and his cohorts to sabotage the Yellowstone last year. They were the ones who trampled the two Yellowstone hired hands in the creek. The trampled crew were then granted their brands for surviving the attack.

The old cowboy (a branded Yellowstone hand earlier in life who had been banished and told never to return by John) later had said brand forcefully removed with a bowie knife before being "retired" by Rip and the crew.

The money man was the last to go.

There was another thread about this show when it first premiered.

I thought then that the initial pitch meetings were simply..........

Let's redo the Godfather with cowboys, horses and mountains.

Gotta love Beth, Rip and the kid. It is very refreshing in a world ruled by political correctness.

don't care much for the recent screen time for Taylor(yeah I know he is the writer/creator) but it just seems like vanity. Plus the character on the show as he plays it is an ass for no reason. It is as if he sees the popularity of Rip and thought being a jerk was the way to replicate that, not realizing that Rip has an actual backstory and reasons for acting how he does.

Well, we haven't gotten the backstory for character Travis Wheatley yet. He was loosening up already with Jimmy on their road trip. Interesting his praise for Sam Elliott and Roadhouse, being that Sam Elliott will star in the Yellowstone prequel 1883, which premieres on Sunday, 12/19.

I didn't know about a Season 4. I had to buy Peacock to watch 1-3 and I'm not quite finished. It's not on HBO where someone said.

And I have to watch commercials as well as pay $4.99/mo. This is a good show but it might be the last TV I ever watch. I mean how much more can you get screwed than to have to watch commercials and pay at the same time?

Fcuk NBC.

Yellowstone's popularity is growing.

Justin Kirkland calls out the dialogue that Beth is getting. I agree.

Yeah, Beth's schtick is getting tiresome and ridiculous.

Beth's character is consistent with the whole show. No more over the top than taking 'coboys' to the "train station." If you don't know what that means, you haven't watched even Season 1.

They could have named the series "Tough Talk" but but that is meaningless and obvious. As is a lot of the dialogue.

the actress playing Beth is no slouch. Kelly Reilly.
probably the best actor on the set.
Kevin Costner? he used to be a lot worse. there's that. YMMV.

Man, if this isn't the best thing on television right now, it's the second best thing.

On that scene, do you think he really did that or maybe some CGI??? Not sure I'd do that job!
