Last Tuesday we ran down US1 to grab some Texmex. We have to cross a large bridge. Back and forth we went. Wednesday morning we wake to find the bridge was closed early in the morning. Someone sitting at an outdoor restaurant below it saw a chunk of concrete fall off it.

They called the police bridge was inspected and closed down. We have a span on a 25 year old bridge failing.

We had to detour for the rest of the week, what was a 10 minute drive turned into a 40 minute drive to the next bridge over the river.

WOW!! i build bridges for a living. do you know the name of that bridge? i would love to look it up. looks like that crack runs straight thru!! i wouldnt expect to it run straight up like that. usually runs at a 45 deg skew.

What's next? Plague. As in COVID19.

Call me crazy, but I like the little guys. They seem to keep the other bugs down, and unlike the roaches, they don't seem to want inside the house. But yeah, they are everywhere.
