Anyone know Honda CT90/Trail bikes?

The Ms has always wanted one in orange. I was furniture shopping at estate sales today and there was an orange on sitting in a driveway.

$100 later, its now in my garage.

Only has 2k miles on it, but hasn't been ridden in years. Anyone know them, or have good resources?

You stole that. I’ve seen decent looking runners selling for $1500+.

They are stupid simple. Bet you clean the fuel system out, and kit the carb and you’ll have a running bike.

Always loved Hondas - they generally keep going. Guy is supposed bring plastics over at the weekend. Airbox cover and something that goes over the frame tube apparently.

It was one of the most interesting houses I've ever been to. Stuff stacked to the ceiling in almost every room. I love estate sales.

I will bite my lip when my kids make a bit of a mess in the kitchen from now on.

I love everything Honda!

But particularly CT90s. Good score.

A favorite YouTube channel is C90 adventures. The host has ridden from places like Mongolia to England. And then on all over the world. Funny as hell. Great insight on the bikes. And, he draws penises all the time to boot.

You super stole it. I have wanted one for years.

I will watch... not sure I'm going to go to Mongolia though...

I have a couple of very silly racing buddies that want to do that rickshaw race through India. I just can't imagine anything good coming of it.

Just sold mine. They have a two range gearbox so if it feels undergeared, check the range lever - left side, underneath the case.

Fresh fluids and a battery and she will probably run like a champ! I have a C70 from the same era and it is my lil pit bike.

What is the box on the front of the frame - the bit with the chrome lid. I don't have one of those...

Since its for the girl, I want to tidy the seats up too. She'll love that its old and has been dropped, but they are kinda gross.

Nice! That low range gear is what makes 'em an awesome hunter's bike too.

Heavy, slow, odd looking, and heavy. My dad had one of these when I was a kid.

We had XR100s. This was analogous to the car that the producers brought along for Jeremy, Richard, and James whenever they did a special. If we broke our 100s, we had to ride the 90...

Eventually (many years later), my dad sold the 90 to a good buddy of mine. We were all riding on the beach on Vancouver Island and each rode through a bit of a soft spot. I went through first and watched another friend roost through, then my brother went, and finally my friend Aaron headed through on the CT90... 1/2 way through the heavy and slow CT90 began to loose whatever floatation those narrow tires could provide and it sunk 1/2 way up the wheels... after we stopped laughing, it took us 20 minutes to dig it out and carry on...

OEM Air filter box. The Trail 90 had it mounted up high to avoid water. Looks like you are missing the carb assy as well. Parts are probably in a box somewhere in that garage.

Its got a carb and metal screen. No filter though. He said it belonged under the left side cover, which he is supposed to bring me with the rest of the stuff.

Its funny - 9 bikes now, and I'm most excited about this one.
