This is the third trial, where they expand the population to 30,000

The Lynn Health Science Institute in Oklahoma City has been awarded the Moderna Phase III COVID-19 Vaccine Study slated to start July 28, 2020.

The institute is looking for 230 to 330 Oklahomans to participate.

Volunteers who complete the study in its entirety will receive $2,000 in compensation.

Good luck. I have not done much reading on planned trials, but I'd guess that there will be more than one vaccine with trials here in the U.S. I hope that it all goes well.

Those companies are under a lot of pressure.

I only know two people that are experts on vaccine development, and one of them is heavily involved with this global effort to develop a vaccine (or multiple vaccines) and establish safety and efficacy.

Once a vaccine is approved for the general population, can you imagine the ****-storm of controversy?

Definitely wouldn't be the first time.
But when it comes to peoples (and 2020), I'm disappointed less when I set the expectation bar really low.

Um. The testing didn't work well on poor humans in India. At all.
Gates is also demanding blanket tort immunity for all pharma, and says the safety/efficacy results may be a few years away.
