The Fit was kind of a weird little car. Surprised the Civic coupe is done.

My dd car is a Fit. One of the best cars I've ever owned.
40mpg and will carry almost anything. I have 220K miles on it and it still drives like new.
My bike fits upright in the cargo area...enough room to sleep in.

I have a 2013 Fit as my daily driver. A ton of room and great around town. And it was cheap.

The older ones just looked weird. I was trying to buy one of the newer body styles for my daughter before I found her a Mazda3. I wanted the Honda for the reliability but couldn't find one in my price range. I think they're an ideal car for a college age kid.

They all look a little weird.

Mine was the last on the lot and the new models with the new body style and cvt were just arriving. It was a dealer demo car with 3000 miles. Got it for 15000. "Sport" model....lol...

Honda is going towards EVs and hybrids.

I bet a Fit like car will be back.

As a stockholder I'd be glad to see them do well, so I won't bemoan loss of stick shifts too much... but some, yes...

AZ 928.... with the 5 speed manual and the vtec engine...you would be surprised how peppy these cars are. I'm not saying they will blow the average car off the road. But they will give the same driving experience of a Civic or Prelude.

Fit likely saved my daughter's life. Probably one of the safest in that size class.

I hope this doesn't come back to bite them when the economy really tanks and no one can afford pricier cars.

I've only owned one Honda.

An '83 Accord LX hatchback.

Fantastic car!

Ended up selling it when I bought my first Porsche.

I’m not a Honda guy but they make pretty good stuff for an important niche. Sad that they’re selling out and jumping on the profit center bandwagon (fat ‘mericans who just want big obnoxious truck-things to drive single occupant from home to cubicle and occasionally drag along a bag of groceries).

I liked the S2000. Cool ride - very nearly bought one a few years ago. A friend had a Civic with NOS and well over 300,000 miles. Went like a raped ape and would not die even with shot after shot after shot of nitrous pumped into it. Cost nearly nothing too. They sure can make engines.

Styling is blah and interiors are chincy but boy those drivetrains are bulletproof!
