My wife drove her odyssey for 270k before it was hit and totaled. She was fine. We hardly did any maintenance and never needed repair. Just ran and ran. I’m not a minivan guy but it sure came in handy for picking up Porsche engines.

P-O-P.... I also own and drive a 98 Prelude with NOS. It's incredible fun.
120,000 miles on it and doesn't burn or use any oil. Car looks like new yet. I'll never sell it.

Shiite you know it's serious when you have a heat pad on the nitrous...
Thumbs up

The remote electric bottle opener is the best purchase of all.
Just flip a switch for open or close! The heater brings the pressure up quickly.

Prelude reminded me of a 911 - great view out over the sloping hood. Very little torque steer. Hard to imagine how they did it with FWD.
High Quality interior, good stereo... And it had great aerodynamics too - very stable at speed, which I proved by crossing Nevada in a very short time... |

I'm pretty proud of my Honda too.
Ex-factory executive car. It can get the mileage too when asked.

Looking forward to the suv trend dieing off. Its as bad now as it was in the late 90s with all the minivans. What will be next who knows. I passed 6 toyota suvs in a row yesterday. How does that even happen they must make billions of them

My Prelude will get 30-32 mpg without using the nitrous.
The Fit gets 40 mpg driving the same. The nitrous is getting expensive. A $25 bottle refill is now $50

A coworker of mine died in his fit after he was hit by a 3/4 ton... only a few days earlier he and I were discussing my perceived lack of protection in a car accident in a Fit.
The driver of the 3/4 ton committed suicide at the scene by walking out in front of a semi truck that drove by. Bad deal all around but just not enough protection for here where 1/2 of the population drives around in 7400 lb + pickup trucks and SUVs.

Noooo....
The Civic and the Fit are both fantastic cars. I've owned a few Civics and loved them. My niece has a Fit and drives it like a race car - and it still goes. One very well built car. |

I have always wondered at Honda marketing in the UK. They sell a very limited range of cars here. The Jazz( Fit) is bought almost exclusively by old people even though it is a supremely practical and a fairly economical car. Civics and SUVs complete the lineup

Wow, I am sorry to see the stick shift go in the accord but its just a matter of time. I still think Honda makes the best feeling transmissions around. I have an S2000. Tell you this, the shifting feel is the best and the handling is amazing for a little car that just want to rev all day long. I used it as my daily switching between it and my trucks. I imagent it will be worth more money not that they pretty much stop making stick trannies. I need to sell it to create space for my old 911. Got nothing but tire kickers and a bunch of kids with 5000 cash offers over text. I pulled it off market and didn't want to deal with selling but it has to go and I am sadden by that a bit.
A friend has all kinds of cars and trucks and his favorite is the Fit and drives it all the time. |
