Like a moth to a candle

I am drawn, in an irrational way to both of these. Also, I have seen a lovely MGA that also pulled hard.

Don't need it. Seem to have plenty of projects. Can't imagine I would use it much. But damn. There is a strong draw.

EDIT: Well heck. Pics keep crashing.

1. 68 ranchero. Lowered 1 inch. Ugly paint. Minor rust. Want to put a T5 in it and drive it like a hotrod.
2. 66 mercury comet cyclone convert. Probably an Indy pace car. Red with white top.

Both somewhat cheap.

Hot rodding a Ranchero would be fun and have a little bit of utility to it . I have been eyeing a local El Camino for the same reason .

I have a song about El Caminos. Goes like this...

El..Camino! El, El Camino!
The front is like a car, the back is like a truck...
The front is where you drive, the back is where you EL..CAMINO, EL EL CAMINO!

Actual it's a Hash song.

And I do love the El Caminos, for sure. Paging Glen in 3,2,...

Did I hear El Camino????

After 29 years and 370,000 miles I still love mine. It rides like a car, and has some hauling ability. I have hauled everything from bags of soil to a 1/2 million dollar aerial camera system.

Dirt cheap parts. Easy to work on for most things.

The Comet is right on.

The Ranchero is rougher. But badazz at the same time.

It's a sickness, I think.
