Has the look and feel of a nice fall day today

I saw the forgot what 101 feels like thread and thought I'd put a little salt in the wound.
Man! The last few days have been pretty nice! We've had some good rains to help the crops around here. I don't think it has made it above 85 for several days now. Today It's low 70's with a breeze. Broken up clouds in the sky. Just has t he look, feel and even the smell of fall in the air today... in August!! I absolutely love days like today.

Same here. Beautiful day. For the last two months it's either been hot and humid or cool and humid - today is a glorious warm and dry. I worked my ass off this morning outside enjoying the weather and doing stuff I like to do. I overdid it for sure.
Now I'm in here with my back and hip joints throbbing, sipping liquid pain killer and doing my physical therapy homework.

Yessir we are getting the same weather today . The next 8 weeks are the best time of year here .
After busting arse for the last month in the 90 deg heat, I am happy to see it settle down a bit .

I walked out on the back patio this morning and the morning air had that "chill" to it. Steam rolling off the pool. Got me thinking about deer season. Just an absolutely perfect day.

Oh, it's gonna get hot again. This is normally crazy hot time here too. But with the rains over the last few days making my lawn nice and green and the nice no humidity day like today, it has me anxious for fall. I love Fall!! I love everything about it!... except for it leading into winter. But other than that, love it!

That's us Oct - April. The miserable days are usually just some of the days of Jun - Sep.

It's winter here in New Zealand, but wow, the mildest weather ever. Gulp, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Wellington, were I live, is a bit of a joke because of it's God awful winds blowing all the time. But it hasn't been blowing either. Very odd. I was working in t-shirt and jeans today, and there have been a few hardy types even going for swims.

A few of the plants have been fooled too, and are starting to spring flower.

Today was the first day since early June that I didn't instantly peel off my hot jeans in favor of shorts as soon as I got home. I actually started up the chainsaw, and cut up a few logs.

It was glorious here, too. We went to our local mountain bike park right around 7 pm to enjoy our first "cool" ride in a long time. Sadly, the days are getting shorter much more quickly than I'd like, too. It was too dark in the forests for the trail I wanted to ride.

Ugh, 50 year old eyes don't love rapid transitions from light to dark . . . I called it off and practiced sweet jumps in the skills area.

My pool lost 10 degrees over the last few days. Down to 76.

Down to 90 degrees today. That may seem hot to some but it feels cool to us when it's been over 100 for most of July. The nice thing about these days is you can drive with all the windows down in the evening and it's perfect. I don't notice the 90 or the 100+ since I'm in an air conditioned office most of the day.

Unfortunately, it's back to triple digits by the weekend.

San Jose, CA was unseasonably cool yesterday and today due to cloud cover in the morning. Was expecting highs of 89 but I don't think it ever got up to 78 yesterday. Today looks like it will be the same. Bit cloudy though so there's some gloom.

Weirdest summer yet. Been super cool. Mid 70’s.

I sometimes wear a sweatshirt in the mornings. Super challenging stepping into a cold lake to step into a kayak. Brrrrr

As of yesterday the TV weather man said we are 9.2 degrees below normal temp for August. No one is complaining except the power company
