And you do know that that will have zero impact on more than 99% of us? If you have other issues YOU need to take precautions until a vaccine is avail.

Thanks. As someone who works in the region’s COVID Hospital and with a daughter at college currently testing positive and quarantined, I’m acutely aware.

How many hundred thousand people went to Sturgis? I think it works out to 0.15% of the people who attended have tested positive.

I know you must be aware of the false positive rate on the tests.

Belief in COVID‐19 Conspiracy Theories Reduces Social Distancing over Time

To date, the US is the country with the greatest number of deaths caused by COVID‐19, and in light of these findings, conspiracy beliefs likely contributed to this.

Every single time I hear a statistic about deaths "caused" by this, I wonder how the cause of death was attributed. I know how they do it in California. There is a thread I posted, "You Diabetics." I would have to check, but I am fairly certain the man I talked about is counted among those numbers. I know for a fact he never had any symptoms, and he had a long list of co-morbidities.

She has symptoms similar to her roommate who presumably brought it into their house. At this point, she and that roommate have had fever and respiratory symptoms (as well as loss of taste and smell) for 6 days. Her other two roommates began showing symptoms at a wedding over the weekend so that will likely be a problem for a number of people as anyone who attended could be asked to quarantine. Her university also just announced that it will be going exclusively online for 2 weeks (for starters) beginning today and is quarantining several dorms.

False testing results (both + and -) vary. I‘m sure people can steer those rates to suit their needs as that’s what people love to do...or loved to do before they got sick or died.
