Zero Zero Zero
Actually the series title is ZEROZEROZERO but that is hard to read.
Has anyone else watched in. It is an Amazon Prime free series. The plot is that it follows the three main players in a shipment of 5 tons of cocaine from the Mexican cartels that pack it for shipment, the transport or shipping company people, and the buyer, the Mafia in Italy. First off I will say it is NOT the typical Hollywood production. The locations are real on site locations, and rather gritty. Some cool location is Italy and not the tourist destinations. I know as much about the real drug trade as I do the orbital mechanics of inserting a probe into orbit to land on one of Jupiter's moons. This seems real to me. Much like Bosch has a much more realistic cop show feel, this series is very violent. It is dark, and certainly not Hollywood glamorous version of the drug trade. The Mexicans come out looking really bad, but much like the movie Unforgiven there are no good guys, no heroes and the only people you feel sorry for are the civilians that have to live in the middle of it all. The people all speak the language, so it involves reading a lot of closed captions. It is a not an American actor with a phone accent, it is the real deal. Just curious what the board thinks. It is a not a "feel good" show, but I think accurate view of the drug business. As I have never spent one single penny on any illicit drug of any sort in my life, I am not part of the problem. Just an observer.

Overall I thought it was good. I was initially drawn in by the interesting locations and "reality" of the story. It has some very strange characters and seemed to pack about 30 episodes of material into 10 episodes.

I've seen the previews and it looked pretty good from those.

I haven’t heard of it but it sounds really good.
I’d better hurry up and watch it so I can discuss it here before the moderators censor this thread because the show and discussing it is offensive to Mexicans. Tony |

I enjoyed it. Some of the plot twists were a bit extreme, but overall the feel of the show was gritty and good.

A good series, we enjoyed it. Several different plot lines with some good twists. A good cast also.
