I used to collect and restore old gas pumps. I've had probably 30 or 40 or so. I loved the hunt, the restoration, and the sale of all of them. I wish I had my first Sinclar Dino. But time and space move on.

Rock posters, framing will put you in the poor house. Still hunting for two then im done. Have the Mad magazines from the 70s/80’s (also not folded in on the back page). Thousands of baseball cards I have had for 35 yrs. They arent worth the paper they are printed on. A handful of vintage neon beer signs. Stereo equipment

Watches, vintage and modern. Nothing super high end though, particularly fond of "oversized" omegas from the 40s-60s.

I also sorta collect LPs off and on since the mid 90s. Quality over quantity here for me. Original pressing Golden age hip hop and Jazz.

I've collected a few things over the years. Sheriff's badges, SxS shotguns, guitars.

I'm trying to get rid of stuff now as opposed to collecting.

Although these have caught my eye. Scripto Vu lighters. All different quirky styles and even interesting "advertisement" versions.....

I remember those. They were great for burning you leg with lighter fluid. I quickly went back to zippo.

Pool cues...not really a specific collection...more an assortment gathered as I looked for that holy grail of a playing cue.

Finally got my hands on a Keith Josey back in 2007....stopped looking. Not a holy grail that never misses, but well made & works for me.

Yeah, until you get to around 64 cars in your list, then you would have an entire car sitting on the shelf, and that's kinda unwieldy...

Some great collecting going on in this thread

Collected a few things over my life but the two collections that are keepers are my sea shell and model car collections

I found every single shell, wouldn't accept any from friends or family as the joy of the collecting was finding each one after hours and hours of unsuccessful searching

My 1/43 model car collection is very special to me as I've nearly every car I've ever worked on driven by each different driver in the various liveries. I've lost count it's easily over 100 cars and still I'm missing a few.

Cap'n, you should post a list of the cars you seek. Would not surprise me a bit if one of these mugs will have just what you are after.
