Windows were always one thing I typically let my body shop guy take care of…

Yes. I remember throwing the (very expensive) Porsche 911 window trim across the garage at 2AM after completely mucking it up. To this day, I still don't know how those Germans installed that!

Got my tires back - very difficult to get just the right ones to work...

Also, new window in. That was a huge pain.

Umm, okay. Yes, I will have someone take that photo of me tonight!

They are a very, very, very, very, very rare and hard-to-find J.A. Pearce "Magna" wheel. I have had an eBay search up for them for a few years now. There's a set that just appeared on eBay UK, but they are not the correct size:

Those wheels in England might not be correct but I wonder if they would fit under those fenders…

Tobra 11-14-2022 03:04 PM

Magnesium alloy wheels, sexy.

Still look like Campy wheels I saw on a Lancia one time, that were also gorgeous.

Well, they are four of the same size - I could use two and get a different profile and make them fit under the rears. Not likely to be useful for the fronts...

Plus, it's 'pickup only', so you get to figure out a way to get them out of England on your own!

I’ve got some English Droogs who can help me, so that’s not a big issue. :)

Non-original upgrade today. I got some labels for the switches and stuck them on with some double-sided, tape, etc. All removable, but makes it look almost like a real car now!

Real car for the win!

Love the Tank Left/Tank Right switch, talk about a non-standard feature.

When I was a kid, living in Singapore 50 years ago, my dad had a Rover 3500. I remember it had lots of cool switches on the center console, including one for selecting the reserve fuel tank, which I thought was Uber cool. Seemed very James Bond-like, to a kid.

It has a cassette player, too so I could play the two cassette tapes that I owned. Beatles Abbey Road and The Who, Live at Leeds.

My Morning Mental Mashup:

Alex and the Droogs in the Adams Probe listening to "Young Man's Blues" from Live at Leeds.

Cool deal, indeed, these are labels that were made by a Rover parts guy in the UK...

Looked at your new web site and found this:

Rescued from from obscurity, Wayne Dempsey discovered the true history of chassis 106b and set out on a multi-year restoration to resurrect this historic race car.

Bad habit of mine. Like seeing the progress here on the Adams Probe.
