So when you install Agama it overrides the stock/original launcher ? I did some research last night on Agama and most reviews were positive but the negative reviews talked about screen freezing and simple things not working . Have you had any issues ? It looks like you download/install a trial version and within 30 days pay for the full version is that correct ? How much is the full version I can't find that info. Thanks

All the Android head units are a little different, so you'll just have to test it out.

The full version of AGAMA is not very expensive. I can't find the price (because I already own it), but I don't remember paying more than $5.

I believe you can ask for a refund on the play store within [24] hours. I've done it once or twice, but not recently, so I forget how to do it, but I think I just uninstalled the app and went to the Play store (or my receipt email) and clicked for a refund.

If it's like some of the aps for your phone from the play store it just won't have full functionality until you buy the paid version.

Ok thanks . I did find one review that stated the full version was only two bucks . My youngest son is a Android savvy user and I have asked him to look at Agama and give me some feedback . He lives out of state . But I am pretty sure the Agama app is worth trying . I will update this post if I go that route .

Update: Today I was bored so decided to download the trial version of Agama. Wow it was so easy and within minutes I was figuring things out . The home screen looks so much better than what came with the unit . I quickly added the GMC logo 😁 it looks very OEM . Set up temp and calendar easily .

I can't get my phone to work yet , it sees my phone and my contact list is there . But it doesn't dial out . I think I have to set something else up I need to dig into this further . I am sure I am a click or two away from it working . Navigation works great and all visual speed readings are in MPH .

As long as I can get the phone to work I will buy the full up version . I really like how it looks and works .

Don't you just hate it when it's OE?
Congrats on getting it going.

Haha as I get older the OE seems to be the issue more than I like to admit 😁 . At least when it comes to technology but I can still turn wrenches well !

Nice! Now you're officially out of the mess I helped create for you.... that is if you have the backing camera yet.

Just remember, if the image on the screen is upside down, flip the camera. Yeah I just had that happen on my daughter's car. Image was inverted. The camera rotates in the mount. I rotated it 180 and BOOM! Image was normal again.

Nice! You should trade the GMC logo for the Porsche logo. It's much cooler!

Glad to hear that you're up and running.
