I read they are finding people with type O blood seem to have little or no symptoms and or recover faster. Blood type is certainly a genetic item.

THis wouldn't be surprising, really. I've seen a show that indicated that the plague may also have had some folks, that due to genetics were basically immune. If folks had one iteration of a gene, then they'd get sick and recover. If they had 2 instances of the gene, then they didn't even get sick.
I want to say the same show also indicated that AIDS may also have something similar. I've been thinking that there was something similar for CV. Yes, most folks that are seriously impacted by CV have complicating conditions, but there also seems to be some folks that die that don't seem to have any of those complicating conditions.

If only us common folk had access to the CRISPR technology being used by the uber rich to change their genomic structure.
They are in a totally different league than the rest of us

The CRISPR tech is available and fairly cheap. How to use it is the hard part. And not making a horrible mistake and not growing a second nose or some other mutation.

I suspect that if you dig deep enough, one's risk of many diseases has a strong genetic influence. The intensity of research on Covid is unusual but the findings likely aren't.
