agreed. my DVR was getting full and i deleted a bunch of races from earlier this year to make room. i watched a bit of a few of them, but even with other sports all out of whack just have not found the time to get at them.

may regret this when the snow starts falling and im home bound, but not finding it as appealing as years past.

Congrats to Porsche with another win in GTLM . Hopefully they can make it three in a row at Sebring and go out on a high note .

That was clearly an ******* move he did in practice. It was quite surprising to most that saw it. It seemed very out of place from his normal activities on and around track.

It seemed like the counter part in the crash in the previous race didn't see his own part in that crash, completely a racing incident and completely blamed Castroneves team for the crash.

But that crazy move in practice was nuts,

Cheers Richard

That's a fun track! Several years ago, my son and I took a performance driving course there. The best part was that HE paid for it, a nice gift to dad!

Talking to some of the "Old Timers", when Laguna Seca first opened you had to have a "National License" to race there.

It is a blast to run there.

It is almost weird to have such pleasant weather at a the track. 65 degrees and mild breeze of Monterey, CA is almost like cheating. I was standing in the garage and got cold so I had to go stand in the sun to be comfortable. I ran at Roebling Road just outside of Savannah, GA and the heat index was 135! I drank 30+ bottles of water and never did pee.

The one thing that surprised me about Laguna Secca was how barren and desert like it was. When we run at Hallett Motorsport raceway in Oklahoma there are trees and grass and it is really pretty. That always amazes the out of state folks.

Monterey is always short on water. We haven't had any rain around here in months. There's enough water for the golf courses, but not the race track.

I was convince 30 min from the end that the vette would catch 912. Great drive. Pics are views from my box. Small I know, but....

Three wide at the start at 2 was interesting. There were several "rubbin is racin" moves in 2 but for the most part, a clean day there

Cool pictures rtrorkt! Awesome you got to attend as I know they were super strict with spectators this year.

Congratulations to the No. 912 Porsche RSR securing its first win of the season.

What a fantastic race, watching Earl Bamber and Laurens Vanthoor keep the Corvette C8.R at bay with strategic pit stops definitely kept us on the edge of our seats.

The #912 Porsche was feeling the pressure from the #3 Corvette towards the end with the gap closing from a 15 second lead to .981 sec by the time the #912 secured the win!

No spectators, though you could rent a camping spot at either CanAm Circle or Chapparal. Watched it on tape delay. Had no idea the Acura smacked the Caddy between 3 and 4 on Sat. Don't remember hearing that call.

Must say, the view from the turn 2 box is pretty good, particularly at the start
