I will be sure to check that out.
I always dabbled with the Tour (as a viewer), but he's the guy that made me a serious fan and I was behind him and his team(s) 110%. He really did seem to posses a super hero quality. As his career and reputation imploded, it really left a certain distaste for the sport and the venue. I stepped away for a few years. However, I started following it again in 2017, and once again love it! Remember this:

I have to wonder if there would have been a different outcome (less drastic) for him had he not so vehemently denied the claims? I dunno. He cheated, big stylz.

Have watched a couple documentaries on him. Of course you only get one viewpoint but he comes out looking like not just a cheater but a horrible person in general.

I once heard someone in the know say that probably the first 75 finishers in The Tour were doping back in the day. So Armstrong's achievements were still amazing. However the level to which he lied about it was staggering. He wrote whole books about how he never doped. Greg Lemond was a nicer guy.
