It starts on Saturday.

Motortrend TV will show what looks like all of it.

My DVR is set and ready. Is yours?

Absolutely. I hope they have a good team of announcers, I have been pretty disappointed with the ones we get in formula one now. And there’s a question of commercials, I hope those aren’t every 10 minutes.

I do like the fact that it’s not spread over three or four channels.

I wish they had aired some of the pre-race practice and qualifying on regular TV. I’m no fan of watching hours of streamed coverage on a computer.

Yea, I really hope we don't get the Sky TV announcers. Those guys just love inside jokes, and three guys talking at the same time, and laughing at each other in the booth, and acting totally unprofessional.

On the other hand we get idiotic announcers at Daytona interviewing drunk spectators instead of covering the race.

I sometimes do that, but I prefer my video and audio come from the same source. The TV in my library is far larger than the computer screen in my office and the chair is also vastly more comfortable. Maybe someday, I will get up to speed with the latest technology to be able to view anything, from any source, on any device. Until then, I will *****...

Man, 12 overall victories for Team Joest, very impressive. I wonder if the IMSA Mazda will be allowed to race the 24 some day.
