Another motorcycle? Yes, dear.

Got this from a shop in Arkansas sight unseen. 2019 R nineT with 1400 miles. Have put on a bout 200 more since her arrival last week. Changed all fluids, installed bar end mirrors (after pic was taken), yada, yada. I like that it’s not mired in electronic doo dads. Just heated grips, ABS and 1170 cc’s of air cooled goodness. Tons of torque, and a blast to ride. Going to be fun. Another stablemate may have to go, but that is TBD.

Have fun and ride safe.

Nice. I was not aware of a BMW dealer here in Arkansas. I thought the dealer in Bentoville shut down.

You’re correct. It was traded in to the Harley dealership in LR. I suspect that’s part of the reason it was traded. No dealer support. It was bought new in Bentonville before they closed up. Closest now is Memphis.

Outstanding!!! I've lusted after one of those for some time. You'll have to keep us filled in on your riding impressions as you get to know one another. If you are as smitten after a few months as I'm sure you are right now, that might be enough to push me over the edge. That way I can blame you, at least...

I've got the original 2015 version of that bike. No heated grips, nothing. Was supposed to be limited edition from BMW, like that ever happens. Now it's their second biggest selling line. They have some really cool paint jobs this year too, do a YouTube search.

I always wanted a tail hump, but that's a $629 accessory, so I never did it. You need the front flyscreen to accompany it.

I'm intrigued by the saddlebags, I just saw a set up in Provo at Harrison Eurosports.

If they haven't improved the situation, keep an eye on the tire pressures. For some reason, that bike loses air pressure.

Nice score! I like them a lot as well; I like how they make so many slight variations of basically the same bike. I've seen a couple in the dealer that really caught my eye.+++

One thing I didn’t realize about the hump...the back pad unclips providing a nice sized storage pod for stuff. Yep, everything is expensive as options. Keep an eye on eBay or Beemerboneyard...maybe you’ll score one cheaper.

I’ve thought about a small screen but really like her naked. Would hate to introduce buffeting as the wind isn’t a problem in our weather normally (70 today). May give it a try at some point. The bike came with the Motorrad tank bags (2) and matching saddle bags. I removed the right one for normal riding. I’d say they’re good storage for day rides but not so useful for touring.

The bike also came with “Option 719” milled valve covers (almost a $2k option). They look nice but nothing I’d have sprung for. The stockers look fine to me.

Jeff...one intangible that I like is the bike feels “real”. I had an S1000R a few years ago that had every gizmo known to man. Felt like I was riding a science project. This bike is pretty basic with that nice side to side shuffle on startup. Really good torque but compared to a Ural and my SS, much smoother, planted and considerably faster with no weird behaviors. There seems to be a certain soul in there that I’ll need to coax out over time.

Have a few hours to kill this afternoon. More coaxing to do!!!
