How's the weather?

I've never seen anything like it. Gusts of wind up to 50mph since early morning. A little rain this morning, then some hail. At 3PM it was snowing and the pine trees have ice on them above 30 feet or so, even though the temperature on our deck is 49 degrees.

82 and sunny. Supposed to get some lows in the 60's this coming week, which I look forward to.

We had our high winds and rain last week courtesy of Eta.....

At shop in Akron. Warm enough for brief outside work in a t-shirt about two hours ago.

I shut shop door (with big windows). Wind kicks up big time and shoots the rain off the roof of a pickup sideways, like one of those boxing pictures where a dude gets hammered in the mouth and spit flies in a spray.

Damn.

For Houston today, I would say "It's California outside."

Cool, clear, sunny, low humidity. To sum up, "beautiful."

The same chit hit us earlier...about 11 A.M. I would venture a guess that initial gusts were over 60 MPH, with pea sized hail, and then blinding rain. It was all I could do to close the porch door, it burst open and hit me in the head while I was holding it, thought I was bleeding !

I have watched football the rest of the day listening to the wind whistle through our pine trees. I walked to the barn, and noticed no leaves remaining in our yard, they were all blown into the next county.
