I had the call the other day that my SSN "has been used in illegal ways" and the IRS is coming to arrest me tomorrow unless I call them and verify my information. I just deleted the message. In the past I had the same message at my old office and we did not have caller ID. The said they were coming to arrest me. I asked who the warrant was for as there are 40 of us here which was a total lie. The said the business owner. He lived in another state.

ive heard differing numbers on the amount paid out, but it was in the millions apparently.

My neighbor across the street works as an attorney at the state Attorney General's office. Several false applications for unemployment from that office were filed. They are a very people that go after the fraudsters.
