Panorama
Probably no one wants these, but I have at least 15 years of Panoramas. Cleaning out the garage and will finally just get rid of them. Looking for someone who might want some or all. If interest is there, I can get into my boxes to see what issues I have. As a 30+yr PCA member I am thinking there are a lot

I started posting them on Craigslist, someone local picks them up. Usually batches of 6 Pano plus 5 Excellence mags... That or I leave it at the car wash, barber, dentist, etc.

I have a bunch of 356 Registry magazines from back when Jerry Keyser was publisher and I wrote a column for it. Hate to burn them, but they are getting in the way.

Unfortunately old magazines are of zero value, and no one wants them.
A few years ago before smartphones, I was at the hospital for a CT scan and they stuck me in the waiting room. I looked for a magazine to read, and saw on top a National Geographic. It had an amazing cover story on the future missions to land men on the moon! I asked the nurse about it and she said a family donated a collection from "grandma" that the kids found when cleaning out the house. She said it was great, in that they had something interest to read, and if people took them home that was good. I still find it really hard to throw the current Panorama or Christophorus in the recycle bin, but I just don't want them to pile up.

Coming to that conclusion with Excellence (from issue 1). 000 might be an exception. I betcha that resells well later ;-)
I wish those things existed as pdfs online by now... I like to revisit them when I buy an old P-car to see what they said about it at the time, but it takes a lot of space ! Last edited by Deschodt; 12-28-2020 at 12:32 PM.. |
