Tonight they called the guy wrong on final because he spelled Caverns wrong in Carlsbad Caverns. I thought they didn’t count spelling against you.

I think he spelled it 'cavrons'....which is how some pronounce it. Awful picky.

He said because the spelling changes the pronunciation it’s wrong.

They don't, but it has to be phonetically correct. When you pronounced his spelling the word was wrong.

Cavron<>Cavern. He could have spelled Kavern, or Cavernn, Cavvern, etc.

Ken is rumored to be leaving Jeop this summer for a new job....

Agree...he is about the best host there could be. I read a second different article about it and they both sounded like they were trying to start a controversy. He is due to be on the show (as a contestant) next month, but I can't believe he would give up Jeopardy.

Yes, and he was just one win away from claiming the #10 spot all for himself in the elite group of highest-ranking former champions, which includes Ken, Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio and James Holzhauer. Hats off to Scott though...he had a great run.

It's been quite some time since any player's had a winning streak like that. Ken even commented on the fact a while back, saying that it had been 'one & done' for Jeopardy champs in recent weeks.

Seemed like an easy clue for him.
