Aaron Rodgers is in.

I agree. I actually liked Rogers better than Oz and Couric.

^^Canadian humor. That was good.

I thought Aaron was a bit monotone, but he certainly wasn't a flop. I could get used to him.

stevej37 04-06-2021 10:13 AM

^^^ The straight face that Scott made was priceless.
Best response on Jeopardy ever!

Yeah, the champ was quick with that one! I thought it caught Rogers a bit off-guard, but he handled it well...

stevej37 04-06-2021 11:44 AM

Made me respect AR more than I did before.
Scott looks like a fun guy to be around.

stevej37 04-07-2021 03:45 PM

Being an NFC central fan of the Lions...I naturally have a hate for Rodgers.
He has really shown how sports are just a sideline to a persons career.

Hats off to him.

stevej37 04-07-2021 03:58 PM

I'm voting a tie between Rodgers and the director of Jeopardy. (Richards?...I forgot his name)

1990C4S 04-08-2021 05:46 AM

Mike Richards. He's still my #1.

I'm starting to like Aaron. Just a bit more enthusiasm in his voice and I could vote for him.

I suspect he's not interested in the full time gig right now.

stevej37 04-08-2021 11:03 AM

^^^ He's prob not that far from NFL retirement.
Surprised he would want a huge pay cut. :)

URY914 04-08-2021 04:57 PM

L-o-w E-n-e-r-g-y Aaron.

Hey Will Farrell would be a perfect replacement, why not? Drew Carey replaced Bob-Barker on the price is right..

JackDidley 04-08-2021 05:32 PM

Richards or Rogers. Rogers has a sense of humor, thats a +.

You have to get out of bed and talk to them eventually.

Yes, randomly turned it on, thought, "that guy makes me sleepy." I knew Germany and Australia in the final question, only needed one and got the wife to roll her eyes at me when I knew both.

Was he more demonstrative when he played football?

I don't remember that so much as that the GD 49ers should have drafted him. I totally expected them to take him, local kid, from Chico, went to Cal, across the bay in Berkeley. He would not have had to even move. I guess I am biased, because I got a chance to see him play in college.

Alex freakin' Smith, seriously, over Rodgers. You have a match made in heaven, and you take Alex freakin' Smith

stevej37 04-13-2021 03:46 PM

Word is that Rodgers is doing better than expected. They also said that he would definitely like to move into that spot. Good luck to him..he would be great.
A couple more guest hosts coming...including Mayim Bialik. (she might surprise some)

A great episode tonight. Dennis, who I didn't think could be beat, ***** on the final Jep answer.
