of course it double the effectiveness. 1 x 0 = 0 ... 2 x 0 = 0

Anyone having difficulty breathing yet ?

Ski'd snowbird this week.. Had a very rude lunch room lady approach and b!tc# at us about not masking while we were eating and drinking.... Then proceeded to do the same to an elderly gent eating fries.... I guess she expected him to turn them into noki by eating them through the mask...

This crap is unreal... If you can smell a fart with the mask on then you can get the vid..(I got it while following mask protocols) Here's the stupid in this situation.... People, myself included are wearing paper thin balaclava's... and that is enough to shut the overlords up.. Had a guy behind me in line wearing a neoprene mask with 1/8 holes in it extolling the virtues of mask wearing...

What this really is, is the first of the modern intolerable acts... It has given 1/2 the population (haters that have been bound to be polite by social convention) two things..
1. A reason to not mind their own business
&
2. Freedom from decency and politeness...

Here's a thought... If your scared of it or at risk... Stay quarantined... To trust the who, the cdc or 1 or 3 masks is foolish....
Protect your selves gents... No one or thing will.

I look forward to the day some Karen says something to me.

As I would never not be polite and mind my business, but if the other person feels the need to say something to me about they type of mask I’m wearing or not wearing one outside when no one is around....

I had Covid in January and have been careful and followed the “rules”.

My county just opened up for indoor dining so I took the wife out for dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant. The place was packed with a hundred maskless happy diners. The girl at the desk points to a table 15 feet away from where we were standing and says "right this way, sir do you have a mask?" I said "to walk 15 feet sit down take it off again? seriously?" "Yes sir, I'm sorry but those are the rules" and I could tell she was truly apologetic about it.
It's great to be able to go out for dinner again but when do we return to a sane world? or do we?

I think we hit peak insanity with Faucci telling us to wear TWO masks. ...and yet no one cares.

OTOH, a lot of people -especially govt workers- are "working" (wink wink) from home and still getting paid for doing nothing. -Those people are NOT going to want to give that up.

Pull your shirt up over your face for the walk, then put it back down.

When it stops being about politics and starts being about science/common sense. I don't have high hopes for it ever happening in some places.

pmax 04-15-2021 12:27 PM

OK

Double masking as Dr Fauci says is the right thing is definitely not catching on.

I live this environment. Most of what MY team does, can't be done from home because of what we're working on, but many of the other people in our organization DO work from home.

Some do it well, others don't. I've heard people say, "Yeah, I check my email once a week." Those people--and their supervisor--should be fired. Other people, I email them, and they're responding within minutes. I'm good with those people.

What's interesting is MY office should have been a super spreader based on what they tell us. I don't really force people to wear their masks, and thus, most don't (except when in public areas), we have a sizable amount of people in the office every day for the past year, and we are constantly interacting (and still going out to lunch as a team). One person from my team has gotten COVID. Wasn't "sick" but got tested because of a family member, and was positive.

I will be glad when life goes back to normal, assuming it does. SmileWavy

I can hardly understand someone mumbling behind one mask let alone two.

ckelly78z 04-16-2021 03:27 AM

It still entertains me to see folks wearing a mask under their clear face shield (sneeze guard), and gloves to slowly browse in a big box store, or grocery...if you are that scared, stay home, or BETTER YET, take advantage of the available delivery services provided. At the very least do your shopping online, stay in your car, and have it placed in your trunk at the curbside service...Don't be a Karen !

pmax 04-16-2021 10:24 AM

What are our leaders doing these days with the double masking thing ?

island911 04-20-2021 07:23 AM

Like a cyclone fence to stop mosquitos...

The "Double Masking" thing was probably an experiment to see how far they could push their brainwashing onto the general public.
