Baby steps, Byron. Baby steps....
Glad they are getting you to move around. That is a good sign for certain! PS: I picked up a 987.2 S last fall after a few years away from my 944S2 and all things Porsche. Seems us front-engined wasser-pumpers still tend to migrate towards the kid brother to the 911... Get well! -Z |
Are you in the OP hospital?
|
Byron,
Glad to hear you'll recover. When this virus crap is all done, one of my goals is to drive to Florida and trade something with you. And visit my brother that I haven't seen in 3 years. But mostly the trade. |
Yeah, glad to hear you are going to be alright. That was a hard hit. I bet that rang your bell . Bummer about the 968. I really liked that car .
Take it easy on yourself, and do what the docs say ! |
Byron, glad you are still with us. That was a bad hit.
Am I correct in thinking this was the rare color blue 968? We don't heal as quickly as we would like at our age. Listen to the good medical staff. As much fun you might be to have around, they want your assets out of these. Best Les |
Wow, that's a heavy impact... that Brey-Krause bar definitely helped keep the odds in your favor. Glad you made it out relatively unscathed considering the circumstances.
I hope you keep your spirits high and have a speedy recovery! |
Holy crap that was a big hit Byron!
Have a speedy recovery Bud! |
Man! That must've been pretty brutal. Glad you are OK. Hope you get to feeling better!
|
Ok, the situation just got worse, I now im in a hall, no rooms, and right next to where they keep the criminals, can have a few of them screaming at the police. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611682389.jpg

Good luck Byron. Don't worry about the criminals - they're the good guys. It's the covid guys you need to we wary off. The sooner you are at home.... |

I can relate to what you're going thru. I was lucky in that I got in/out in a matter of four days or so. When things got freaky I just thought about what I could control. No sense worrying about what others are going thru. It got hard at times but it worked. Hang in there. |

The criminal thing is really annoying. When my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer, her medical coverage would have covered a private room which given the circumstances was what she / we needed. Unfortunately the private room on the ward was occupied by a prisoner and 2 cops keeping watch over him. I’ll never forget that arseholes smirk when he walked by us knowing that he was in my ‘mom’s room’...
I said something to one of the cops and they did get that guy out of there but it took a day or so. |

Wow. Hope you can get home soon and get some proper rest. It's hard to get better when you can't get to sleep or are prodded ever two hours.
Get well! |
