Brey-Krause Saved my Life.

Yes, according to the emts my Brey-Krause bar literally saved my life last night as I was t-boned in my Porsche 968, the other driver was going over 60 when he hit me.*

I only have 3 broken ribs and bruised lungs, and don't look like i was in an accident.*

Wow .... that's a helluva hit, glad you're relatively OK. You gotta be sore from that ... ouch!

Heal up Byron...

Zeke 01-25-2021 01:27 PM

Good to hear the good news. Very sorry about the bad news. Looks like that was a great car.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

gordner 01-25-2021 01:29 PM

Speedy recovery Byron, looks like it could have turned out a lot worse!

peppy 01-25-2021 01:34 PM

Glad you're ok, and hope you heal quickly.

VINMAN 01-25-2021 01:41 PM

Damn Byron,

Glad you are not hurt any worse.

The 968 held up better than I thought it would have too.

Racerbvd 01-25-2021 01:43 PM

Thanks everyone, not doubt that I will be sore, they did an ultrasound and showed me the damage. My right knee has a big bump under it. Been doing breaching treatments and exercises today, tried to stand, but was very painful and I was getting light headed. Yes, that 968 was a great car with a lot of good memories. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1611614231.jpg

Glad you are with us. That was a hard hit.

stevej37 01-25-2021 01:45 PM

The car means nothing compared to your health.
Glad to see you are able to post.

tdw28210 01-25-2021 01:46 PM

Holy Hell, glad you are OK. Seriously.

From the looks of it, guessing it was a lifted truck of some kind. Wheel isn't pushed in, but the body panels are.

Sooner or later 01-25-2021 01:48 PM

You should send Brey-Krause a testimonial.

Amen! Much better that the car got totaled instead of Byron. SmileWavy

Whoa! Glad you are okay, Sir. You should recover quickly, given your very young age and healthy lifestyle.
