^^^ Good dog Java!!

javadog 02-17-2021 11:20 AM

Not my dog...

My dog would eat that dog. He gets quite the appetite when it turns cold.

stevej37 02-17-2021 11:22 AM

I figured it was yours....he's spelling his name out in the snow!

javadog 02-17-2021 11:37 AM

Nahhh, he’s stopped in his tracks.

Left out in the cold.

Apparently forgotten.

stevej37 02-17-2021 11:42 AM

I think he's stopped and wondering where to go to start the A

When I first joined Pelican I was not new to online forums. I had already learned to spot trolls and even more dangerous, the fools. In the technical section of any board there are people singing the praises of a certain technique or shortcut or just a way to do things. Everyone else with real knowledge tells them they are wrong and full of BS. That makes them sing their own praises even more. I just make a mental note that they are trolls, and go along my way.

I don't have anyone in a blocked list. I am just quick my finger on the scroll wheel. Zip past the idiots and go on.

If they start a thread, just don't even go there.

Just out of curiosity, can you share any general information on that conversation?

It was your turn for the pound cake, wasn’t it.

Everybody feels safe, again, I hope.

Some of the infamous a/c threads come to mind - good times! :D

I had nothing to do with it but I’d be curious what excuse a loser like that makes for the 10th time.

FWIW... IMO "raguilera" and "thor66" are the same person.

We all know MadCorgi has a history of creating new accounts.
- Why wouldn't he create and use more than one?

All he has to do is apologise and ask for another chance. That apology could remain private.

We now know this to be false.:D

I don't see how any of this member knitting circle stuff is worth any angst - if one doesn't like what a member posts, simply don't read their words (no need to even use the ignore function); there are several PARF regulars that I don't look at as they have shown to be too full of stink for even me (I just roll my scroll right past their posts) :). I'm sure that many do the exact same thing with my posts.

Terv once posted how he has a brain so can filter out whatever forum noise he wants to (a post to that effect - not his exact words), and I agree.

it harms the right-wing snowflakes - please think of the children

Lets see, lamp cord used to power in tank fuel pump.
Sock used to replace oil fill cap.

What else?

I TOTALLY disagree. Ignored trolls won't stick around. If no one responds to their stupidity they have no one to argue with and lose interest. Just ignore them. Unfortunately, there is usually one person who doesn't have self control and they will answer and/or argue with the troll and then the thread is trashed after that.

Roller skate wheels and erector sets and drilling the dog snot out of your front end to keep from bottoming out on your driveway. Who was that?

sc_rufctr 02-22-2021 06:20 PM

If you think someone is being a troll... The best thing to do is put them on ignore.

Trolls crave attention. Good or bad it doesn't matter.

The moderators should post a Top 10 “most ignored” list each year. I doubt it would be surprising to anyone. Several of mine are this thread.
But they’d probably get off on that, too.
