That's a great looking Pepper wagon. Not sure where you washed it, but thank you for not having wet pavement. Those pics are set up nicely.SmileWavy |

Went down and saw Dan and his Cayenne today, a very nice truck, drives beautifully, interior excellent, the silver is much better in person than in pics. Can't go wrong with it for the price. Getting a Cayenne would allow me to have one vehicle for everything i need to do and that is 80% BMW manual 328 (which is really a brilliant car around town) and 20% truck. While I liked it a lot, I'm not sure I would want it as my only vehicle in addition to the M491. The BMW has spoiled me for zooming around town which is most of my DD driving. We were on back country roads where it shined but it was a short test drive and took it easy being not my car. I'm going to try to find one locally to test drive around town. If I can see it as a single vehicle, I'll hope Dan's is still available. |

One think I don't like about the Cayenne is the way the seats fold. You need to tumble the seat forward, pull the headrest then fold the seat back over. Giant PITA and the seats are really heavy. The same goes for the 1st gen ML. On the same gen X5, you just flip the seat back and you're done. |

I think I'm back in the Tundra camp and keeping the BMW for around town. Looking at this tomorrow. https://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/pts/d/wilmington-toyota-tundra-2002-under-62k/7285525642.html |

That truck sounds solid. Were you looking for 4x4? |

A Toyota as any vehicle is tough to beat , the appliance reliability is nice too . Depending on family needs a pickup is so versatile in everything it does well . Good luck in your search . |

I had an 8 cylinder '03 Tundra limited for many years and it had around 200k on it with no major issues. While it passed the Tundra frame replacement recall, I eventually decided it was too old and dated and had lots of rust on front suspension etc. I sold it and bought a used '11 newer gen Tundra limited with the super powerful 5.7 v8. It now has about 120k on the clock and I love it. The older smaller V8 '03 had plenty enough power to pull my race car trailer and boat, but the newer 5.7 is much stronger. Not that it matters being that is just a "truck", but the newer Tundras are pretty damn quick. old '03 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1614793994.jpg newer '11 pulling 8500 lb 31.5' camper Ohio to Wisconsin and back at 70 mph+ http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1614793994.jpg |

Those are great 1/2 ton PU trucks, no one can match their quality. |

I drove the '07+ Tundra and while it's a beautfiul truck, just too big for my area and just too big. The '00 to '06 Tundra is the perfect size for my needs and just the right size in general. The newer Tundra and my old one is a little like that 991 vs SWB pic. |

Got an email that they guy who now wants to wait a few weeks for people to look at it. And said he has a ton of people to look at it. Last time this happened I bought an '01 Tacoma for my dentist the guy started taking bids. No thanks. It is only 2WD so with the drama calling it quits. Still looking for a local Cayenne to drive. A FB friend who had one said around town driving is not it's forte which is what the vast majority of my driving will be: trips to anodizer, plater, Home Depot and some dinner and dates. There was a beautiful GTS in Jersey but it was sold. And too far to drive for a test drive. Talked with my bank yesterday and if I want to get something past my cash allowance and take out a loan, they would write it up as an equipment purchase. Thought that was nice of them. |

Three vehicles seems like a good minimum and I only drive, maybe once or twice a week! I would love to have a '21 Tacoma or a sport SUV or even a beater-truck, with miss matched panels. Have to say, when I drove 'Around Town' five days a week .. NYC traffic.. ugh... often at rush hour, ugh: I loved my '86 VW-for parking ease, maneuverability and pep. Actually the 914 was even more fun at city-speeds but no as practical. Let us know what you finally decide Shawn. |

This sold for what I expected. No Reserve: 2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS' The one in Jersey was black on black for $15K and perfect. Thought it was underpriced but you never know with used cars. |

Today I could have used a bigger vehicle or had UPS pick up several large shipments. Right now I'm looking at 00-06 Tundras 01-04 Tacomas 08-10 Cayennes Oddly enough all three are the same price. |

I'm looking forward to getting it on the road asap. Scored some virtually perfect 1987 seats for it last fall. Going to get a carpet kit and put them in and go after replacing the entire front suspension. Turns out parts are cheaper than time. Quicker just to buy all new parts and put them in vs dismantling and replacing what's needed. |

Have a 14 CD as well. This one has been a great car. PASM/Air suspension, pretty rare for an S.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1616009155.jpg |
