Interesting. I have less than no knowledge of Glocks or their peculiarities. It does strike me (pardon the pun), however, that if the striker fall with a light spring is critical enough that one primer or the other provides some advantage, I would go with the heavier spring that allows for any primer.
I suspect this affects trigger pull, with its semi-cocked, pull the trigger to finish cocking it operating principle? I know guys back off the tension screws on double action revolver main springs in an effort to lighten the double action trigger pull. and yes, I've seen plenty of them set too light to be reliable with all ammunition. Myself, I'll give up a little in trigger pull for reliability, even on a "range gun" that will never see hunting nor carry duty. For a carry gun, or hunting gun, reliability wins every time, of course.
