'97 Volvo 850 wagon on eBay w/5 speed

Located in Orlando.....would be an easy transaction for me.

Looks pretty clean, too!

I wonder what the final bid will be?

Currently at $3,278 with 2 days & 22 hours left.

Baz that would be a sweet ride , I bet final bid is around 6K . A one owner with a clean record and maintenance history sure adds value to a visually clean car . You throwing in a bid ?

6k?!? I must start exporting Volvos to US. That is 1500$ car at best here in Sweden. Maybe it will be "hip" some time in the future but currently, it is as hip as a rusty 240GL in 1992. Only good thing is low mileage, but it is usually bad maintenanance that kills these, not the mileage.

Would be cool if a turbo. I wouldn't pay what its bid to right now for a N/A car. I used to have a 95 850 turbo wagon that I converted to a 5spd and threw the IPD catalog at. Even did a track day with it. It was a neat car. It ended up sacrificing itself for the safety of me and my 2 little girls. Replaced it with a 6 spd V70R that I still have.

Thanks, Big Don!

I'm stoked!

I'll be picking her up next week and will post pics, of course.

I still lust for a 145, and intend to get one some day - but also realized that for now having this well-regarded model that has air conditioning isn't such a bad thing - especially with summer on it's way.

I think that’s a perfect stop gap till you find your 145.
Had a ‘95 850 Turbo sedan that was totally the shiznit. Drove terrifically. Solid rig.

Thanks.....I think you're right, Don.

Yeah, I've read nothing but positives about this model. Mine is just a plain jane 850 but for me that'll be fine.

Congrats Baz,

Lots of room for the pup in back, but I bet he’ll still ride up front!

Congrats Baz, I love the 850 wagon. I flirted with a couple of 850R wagons over the years but never could get it done.
