Into the middle of January and it still seems like late fall. Temps have been mild.

Grand Rapids averages three feet of snow by this time.
This year....six inches to date.

It's no doubt coming...but every day is one closer to spring.

My daughter, born in Germany and lived all over the US including Northern NY, calls it 'Texas cold'.

Anyway, it snowed at COTA yesterday. People in San Antonio were all bundled up like it was cold. It was in the upper 30s and far from cold.

My pond partially freezes every night with temps in low 20's but partially thaws every day with temps in the upper 30's. No pond hockey...and that just ain't right!

As of Jan 2nd Oklahoma City has had more snow that Chicago this winter. I would prefer to never see snow again unless I go up into the mountains to visit it up where it belongs.

I am ready for spring.

Maybe the post office screwed up a shipment of cold and delivered it to Texas instead of Michigan.

Central Texas (Austin, east of Austin, and Dallas for sure) saw snow yesterday. Our temps in central Houston are/have been 32-35º which is pretty cold for around here. We'll occasionally have a few days here and there throughout the winter with temps near freezing, and very occasionally below freezing (may not happen some years).

You shut yer yapper!! I'm lovin this "winter". I could use one more 2-3" snow for some rabbit hunting but other than that you can bring on spring! My M.I.L and F.I.L like to have a traditional Hasenpfeffer dinner and I try to oblige by going out with my .22 and getting them each a rabbit. Couple inches of snow makes it easier for me.

I counted over 50 (gave up after that) turkeys in my back yard/field this morning.

Yesterday....22 deer..all browsing thru a cut corn field

I just drive down the road to a friend's place for turkey. He has 4 huge barns full of them and they're antibiotic free! Deer have been herding up around here too. On my way home from hunting I counted 50 in a field. I told my friend they were so thick I could have just pointed a gun in their direction and hit one. But I need 2 rabbits!

We’ve had it pretty good around here so far this winter.
A couple of decent storms where I used the blower, but a lot of sunny and mild in between.
The older I get, the more I want to overwinter in Florida.
Winter can suck it.

About the same here in the Maritimes, mild for this time of year. I'm not complaining, hope it gets cold in Feb for ice fishing though.

I was talking to a guy in PE the other day. He said it was sort of like like last year only to set a record for snowfall. A few contacts in Moncton also said it has been mild.
