Darn shame about the dog walker huh Stefani?

but no reward for the shooter just the dogs

"...Lady Gaga is offering the reward for the return of her dogs — whose names are Koji and Gustav — with no questions asked,..."

Wow, that's really messed up. I hope the dog walker pulls through OK.

Crazy, I knew that Frenchies were popular (easy to see why, they are adorable, but I don't think a lot of folks understand that they are high energy dogs).

I had no idea.

Quote:
French bulldogs are hugely popular and in much demand, but they are notoriously difficult to breed. They require artificial insemination and the physical characteristics of the dog - a large head and shoulders - mean they usually have to be delivered by Caesarean section.

The breeding costs explain the price tag of a puppy, which can range from $2,000-$10,000.

This is why we need to arm dogs. They could have defended that guy.

They were French Bulldogs. They would have dropped their guns and lifted their legs.

I agree on the dropping the weapons but I would have thought rolling on their backs and exposing their necks would be apropos n'est-ce pas?

In actuality, the French get an undeserved bad rap on surrendering. But they are so much fun to taunt.

They did a good job holding the line in WWI against a superior enemy, with minimal English support at the beginning. The Americans did tip the scales upon their belated entrance. The Germans weren't defeated, they simply realized that resistance was futile and gave up.

WWII, once again, the French were prepared but the Maginot Line wasn't as long and all encompassing as it could have been. The cannons were fixed and couldn't be turned around to defend against a pincher movement.

The Ardennes Forest (thought to be impassable) and Belgium/Holland were left wide open for political reasons. The French saved the Limey's butts with a tactical rear guard action and allowed them to evacuate across the Channel at the Dunkirk departure point.

They did surrender but to gain "some" amount of autonomy and perhaps to fight again. While France got beat they were a hell of a lot better prepared than the English. Chamberlain had his lips firmly puckered to the German's buttocks with Royal encouragement. Their forces were woefully depleted by 1918 standards and were still flying cloth covered biplanes. They did get their asses together quickly but by the skin their teeth. US Lend/Lease and blockade running did the job.

The Americans still had horse Calvary as did the Poles and the other Slavic countries that got rolled up in a few months if not weeks.

Then there was the "Sitzkrieg" where everyone sat on their asses from September 1939 to May 1940. When the Americans finally got involved. It should have been only in the Pacific. But Adolf HAD to declare war to save face. The little schnitzel was kicking everyone's butt in Europe but he HAD to screw Russia and violated his treaty and take on the US as well.

If he had immediately followed the English retreat, they would have been dead meat. Picking off one enemy at a time. He didn't need to pissoff the Americans and he could have waited out the Russians, resupplied his troops and sent his guys to the cold Siberian steppes with winter gear instead of flip flops and shorts.

Over simplified but basically what happened. The Simpson's line on Cheese eating surrender monkeys didn't help much......

She holds more important her dogs than the humans who work for her. But we already knew that.

Oprah is any better? The rich and famous look down on the plebes....Pelosi, Feinstein, Trump, Hildabeast, Kardashians, Ron Jeremy anyone who is famous for being famous think their crap don't stink.

If'n I was rich, I'd STFU and fly under the radar. But I'll settle for obnoxious and poor.

Aren't animal lives put over humans all the time? Look at the SPCA ads vs. Planned Parenthood. Cruelty to animals yet the courts allow child abuse both mental and physical and participate based on a false premise of "the status quo".

Surely I don't need to go into the "Hollywood" types?

I hope the dog walker makes a full and speedy recovery and the dogs are unharmed.

I always felt that if I struck it rich, I'm leaving for the mountains, build some ridiculous cabin with a huge shop. Bring some friends. There are some really great areas in Montana.

How often in action movies do dozens of people get killed, but people get emotional if an animal is injured or killed? For that matter, when was the last time you saw a pet killed in a movie? Sad bit of selective morality in our culture today.

As for our famous trash of the day story, no surprise that she values her dogs over the guy she was paying to walk them. Probably arranged by her handlers and she never even met the guy.

They'll find them.
It was just now reported that one of the abducted dogs has it's own Instagram account.

She has offered a half million dollars for their return...no questions asked.
I don't know how she can do that...seeing that her dog walker was shot.
