How can you have that much money and be so stupid? As much as he wants to pretend he is a regular guy he's not.

He's not the every day guy going to a 9-5 stopping at the bar for a shot and beer before going home and gets pulled over. He has the ability to have someone drive him every place he wants to go.

HIGHLANDS, N.J. — Rocker Bruce Springsteen is facing a drunken driving charge for an incident in New Jersey in November.

A spokesperson for the National Parks Service confirmed Wednesday that Springsteen was arrested Nov. 14 in a part of the Gateway National Recreation Area on the New Jersey coastline.

I saw a guy (about 80 years old) yesterday with all 4 windows down on his SUV in 15* weather cruising about 40 mph through town....made me wonder !

Does something like that even matter to a guy like the boss? Small fine, will they give him ARD?
He will lose his license for what 90 days? He can afford to have Keith Richards chauffer him around if needed .
It would ruin my life, and crush me financially , that is a huge part of why I quit drinking all together . I loose my license , it directly affects my livelihood .
Maybe he can write a song about it .

Of course it doesn't matter to him, that is why he drives drunk. It only matters to the people he could kill or injure while driving under the influence.

Just another idiot that figures laws and rules apply to the little people. Rich celebrities are usually above the law. Even when they get arrested it is not a life changing thing, just call an attorney and have them fix it.

At least he did not hurt anyone else.

I am sure nothing will come of this but, he is actually being charged with a Federal crime as the stop occured in Gateway National Recreation Area on Sandy Hook.

according to the National Park Service. Springsteen was cited for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area, according to the National Park Service.

The Boss will have his case heard in federal court as the Gateway National Recreation Area is federal land.

He should be made to do some good public service . Take some inner city kids out for a 4wd trip in moab, or help out a local school, or mentor some young talent or something .

Yep, lot of people get stupid and drive drunk. For most people arrested for DUI is can cripple them with loss of a driver's license and the costs of the fines. It will have zero real effect on him. He may have to go sing a few songs or make a public service announcement, but big deal.

I guess he can't go to Canada now. Or will Canada allow him in because he is famous?

Yep but he is far removed from his regular folk days in Freehold and Asbury Park . He's not regular folk he's The BOSS and he didn't go to the corner bar or to someone's house and had a few. He was in a closed National Park consuming alcohol.
