Kind of looks like a 2/3rds scale model of a car or an aircraft in the details.
Gotta love that blue color.

Ferrari has gotten quite proficient at separating the ultra rich from huge quantities of their wealth.
If you spend enough money, they will be happy to restore a car to better than it was when it was first built. |

They must have seen Porsche do it and figured, why don't we do that?!?

Why try to compete?
I mean, quickly..without doing a search...tell me the top cars of the Pebble Beach or Amelia Island concours of 2019. See how important it all is?

Great business plan. That level of rich is never affected enough to matter in any economy, good or bad. They always have the money to spend.

As Jeremy Clarkson would say, "Excuse me, I'm having a crisis...."
I approve. Gorgeous car, amazing restoration!

I only mean compete in beauty. I love the 550 but in looks it doesn't come close that 500 is gorgeous.

Many, many times I'd swing past on my way from lunch to peer through the window of that restoration shop
Think Ferrari have been doing factory restored cars long before Porsche decided to

Attended Italian Concours at Monterey, 1995. Lucky to have spent the whole week there. Other makes outside the perimeter of the core show, including Porsche, were on display. Checked those out at the end of day. All of those other cars looked like utility vehicles after a day of looking at the Italian cars.

They have, they’re just also better at it. By that, I mean they are more expensive. And remember when they came out with the idea that you could certify your street car... For many thousands of dollars, you could take it to a dealer and they would examine it and tell you if it’s exactly as it was when Ferrari built it. If it wasn’t and you wanted the certificate, you had to pay them to undo all of the non-original modifications. What a joke that was.

But I thought it was forbidden to start up a car indoors at Ferrari. Or maybe that's only inside the factory? Is that true, Capt Ahab? Or just rumor?

904. looks perfect from every angle. and sounds furious when driven at anger. I've heard em at Le Mans classic.. they sounded better then the 917's..
