I like 'Dollar General'...but I'm not sure how showing 'Kmart' will go over with the gals.

You can call me Brody.

Camera angle three moves to 45 degrees on Brody as he examines his appendectomy scar, wondering if he has anything to add to the conversation (he does not).

Robert Shaw...from Jaws. RIP
Also from 'The Sting'....the greatest movie ever!

Lonigan (Shaw) in the poker scene with Paul Newman will never be matched.

Back to my briefs.....when the emt returned from the ambulance holding a pair of scissors...I knew what was coming next. Two quick snips and I was laying naked on the blacktop. (from the waist down)
Three years ago this Mothers Day.

Gotta buy some better ones.

Speaking of EMT's and scissors. (Greg would approve this story)
I had a friend once- in a bike accident. He got clobbered by a car, and in the back of the ambulance, a very hot EMT grabbed her scissors and began to cut into his spandex.

"It's spandex" he said.
"I know" she said.
"No, really, it's spandex."
Snip went the spandex.
Sproing went the goods.

Many years later, he passed away. When I got hit by a car, I was sitting in the back of an ambulance. Enter a hot EMT with scissors...

"It's spandex" I said (smiling-thinking my friend's story, and how it had come full circle.)
"I know" she said.
Sproing went the goods.

I get it. At the time, I felt like Robins Williams at the end of garp.

I received some fancy Chinese briefs from Amazon by accident. They were my size, but were a little tight in the crotch.

No idea as there was no receipt. I contacted them and they said to keep it. Damned things were about $20 a piece. Unfortunately, they were tight, so I donated them.

I need to watch both The Sting and Rain Man again. Recollection is fuzzy but clearly classics.

So many great movies are fading if I only watched them once or twice. E.g., Bridge over the River Kwai, Pappillon, Dog Day Afternoon.

Alien and The Shining and others I can recite the script because I revisit to this day.

At 21, young nurse tech taking X-Rays of my intestinal tract, while positioning my hips on the table, said I don't get many young men in here. That triggered a semi.

Reminds me of my broken leg in 2012. Ambulance ride was 10 miles. Seemed like 100. Half way there I finally get some morphine. I dont remember much after that but I know they cut off my jeans, my underware, my T shirt and one sock. The only thing they did not cut was one sock. That sock had a hole in it.

I think I've seen about all the classic movies over the years.
The Sting is the best double-cross movie ever made. Won 7 academy awards including Best Picture.

It's a thinking persons movie with an all-star cast. Robert Shaw, Paul Newman, Robert Redford.
I've prob seen it a dozen times and still will watch it again.

When they wheeled me into the operating room to insert the titanium rod....the first thing I saw was a huge bar clamp mounted to the bed. It is used to clamp the pelvis in place for the drilling.
I started asking the nurse about it and she reached up to open a valve on the IV.......
