I equate Robert Shaw with Sterling Hayden. No one can bump them from their viewpoint. Very intense.

That's from Jaws and Dr Strangelove, primarily.

I laid there for 3 days before surgery. Thank you morphine.

I was only in two days....they gave me a nerve block into the groin two different times.
I watched the whole thing. Two guys...one with a needle injecting the spray and one manning a tv camera that was inserted into the groin. Never felt a thing.

Fun Fact! Jack Nicholson was thisclose to playing Hooker in The Sting instead of Robert Redford.

3 days before surgery, then 4 more days waiting for swelling to go down. I still have 2 pieces of metal and about a dozen screws in my leg.

A few years ago, I was out of town and met a fellow Pelican for dinner. We had a great time, but he kept referring to threads I'd never read. Finally, I told him: I only click on maybe 20%, if that......Most have titles of little interest to me...........Sorry if the truth seems harsh.

Speaking of harsh Bob. When do I get my beer you promised me? We have been covid free for quite some time. the hotels are empty just waiting for you and Mrs' LakeCelum to do a tour. The trout are biting and the pinot noir varieties are ripening on the vines...

Bill - As you know, March of 2020 got canceled 4 days before departure. We rebooked for March 2021, and had that canceled also. I see the recent lockdown of Auckland for I think just one case?

Let's try for March 2022 and you get that beer........CU Soon
