Sold ring here on Pelican.

I am a volunteer firefighter. I have used one on a car fire and was not impressed.

Seems gimicky to me. I get fire extinguisher training every year at work and I can't see that putting out the same gasoline fire that we put out with a 20 lb extinguisher.

Interesting mechanism. Apparently they contain Potassium Nitrate which gets reduced to Potassium Carbonate by the fire. I wonder how it produces aerosolized KNO3?

No residue. Dry chemical creates a massive clean-up problem. It gets everywhere and turns to concrete. Fights all major classes of fires. Never expires. Looks like a small flare. Quite small and light.

Supe your explanation sounds all positive . Have you ever used one or seen one being used ? While I think the price is a bit high it sure seems like a good product .

I am only going from the info I see on websites. A couple of folks have said they are not impressed, and I really want to hear more about that.
