If I was in my 70's I would not be waiting 15 years for a pool cue. Actually, even in my 50's I wouldn't. Would not wait for a guitar either. Physical changes will occur, you may end up with severe arthritis in your hands, eyes will fail, lose interest... You could likely be dead.

Enjoy the moment.

That's super cool. Tamiya gad some really cool RC kits back in the day like Clodbuster, Midnight Pumpkin, Lunchbox, and Monster Beetle just to name a few.

I consider myself lucky to have figured this out at a young age. It’s one thing to have nice, good enough things but so much of what is promoted is a little ridiculous for the experience you’re getting.

The original family still owns this Trabant. They waited 12 years for delivery. Another car took 17 years. They told us that most families put in an order for a car when a baby was born, figuring that the car would be ready around when the child would be old enough to drive.

Now people rent the Trabant for weddings and other events. Nostalgia means remembering the good things while forgetting the bad.
