Lone Star Beer bottle cap puzzles

My daughter brought me a case of Lone Star from Las Vegas, cuz I can't find it in anywhere in Cali.

Some are cap puzzles are easy, others not so easy too me.

I am resisting looking up the answers on Google.

How long have they been doing this

Lucky Lager also had the puzzle caps back in the 80s. I was terrible at it.

I wasn't going to say anything. When I bartended (~5 years) we used to very occasionally have someone ask for Lone Star.

I've never actually had it, although there's some outside in our second 'fridge that someone left here (the story is that they were having a moment of nostalgia thinking about when they drank it in HS).

I wonder if you could pour it on ant beds to kill them or run them off. .

They are like this.

I drank some of it in high school but usually it was provided by someone else so did not turn it down. No fond memories of it

When it's spring time in the mountains...

I drank some in college. It was not very good beer. But it wasn't cheap enough, like The Beast. It was about equal to quality of the big 3, just a different flavor.

Actually, the cheap go to beer was Busch, $20 per keg.

I always heard that once you couldn’t solve the puzzle, it was time to stop drinking.

I don’t think I’ve ever had it but it can’t be any worse than Budweiser or Coors.

It is about the same. It's beer! It'll get you drunk!

I do remember back in the 80's in Oklahoma that people would buy a couple of six-packs to get drunk. Of course, that state had 3.2% Beer...

1) It's called a rebus, not a puzzle.
2) Sometimes there's no rebus at all, and it throws you for a loop
3) It's unfortunate how many Pelicans I've meet who will never come to visit me at home, once they find out that I usually have a keg of Lone Star in the kegerator in the backyard.

It's a helluva lot better than the Big Three, and it's even better on draft.

Aren't all beers better on draft?

Theoretically, but I might be hard-pressed to tell the difference occasionally.
