Anybody using Wyze cameras & doorbell?

Inexpensive, and 14 day free cloud service without a monthly subscription. There must be a catch?

I use their cameras (2 V2 stationary and 1 pan) and just ordered the doorbell to replace my version 1 Ring that still sort of works.

I like them. Cheap, easy to use app, local storage for unlimited recording, clear videos.
They have a new subscription that has some odd features, not sure if they are worth it or not but it's nice there is a free option which is fine for most people.

I have 4 Wyse outdoor cameras. There is a lot of latency due to the fact that the outdoor cameras require a base station. I understand the indoor cameras are faster.
I have the "Deluxe" feature on the front door camera that recognizes people vs dogs, birds, raccoons, etc which minimizes false alarms. We have had contractors coming in and out so I take it down during the day. It's a magnetic mount, so it's easy to remove.
Batteries last months.

The biggest flaw is the motion detection on the 14day cloud service. It only records for like 20 seconds every 5 minutes. So if a car drives by your house and trips the motion, and a thieve breaks into your house 4 minutes later, they won't show up. Put a memory card in all of them so you have actual recordings.

I wish they could be viewed on a PC too. It's only on the app, and it doesn't sound like they have any plans to change that.
