I have noticed around here...even with no change of the gov. mandate, the people that were masked up a few weeks ago are not wearing one now.

Still seeing a pretty high percentage here.

I went to the tag office yesterday and every customer had a mask, about a dozen. Not a single employee wore a mask, i counted six.

My guess at overall usage is about 60-70%.

I work for a large bank. We are starting to rotate in next week at 50% capacity. Masks mandated thus far. I think its going to go out the window pretty quick. My sorry ass is tasked with figuring out what 50% means.

In Houston, specifically Harris County, most of the stores still require masks. City of Boise in Idaho still requires businesses to enforce masks. No one wears one outside. And Outside City of Boise, no one is wearing a mask.

It is funny. I was in a restaurant yesterday, and we both commented on the fact that we didn't wear a mask outside, put it on at the door, walked to out tables, where we took out masks off.

The CDC is horrible at messaging. They and the media to present their guidelines as some kind of government mandate when they are just guidelines. They have no ability to enforce their guidelines and never did, but they acting like have enforcement powers, which causes people to push back.

Is a very different message than,
“The CDC has determined it is safe to...”
But they don’t get it.

So now everyone will celebrate? So they all needed someone of "authority" to tell everyone that it is now okay to not wear a mask if fully vaccinated? So I guess now you will be able to tell those who have been vaccinated from those who haven't and the shaming and division will continue, oh but if you don't feel "comfortable" not wearing a mask then that's okay, and it is okay to wear a mask if you want to all because Biden says it's okay?

Went to Home Depot and cabelas tonight. I was about the only one without a mask. Felt weird.

But I wasn’t about to put one on.

My wife and I are retired and vaccinated . We have made the decision to now go mask less where it is allowed . As an example if we go to a store and they still want a mask to be worn we will do so . Likewise if a store has no mask policy we will not wear one . Yes there is still a risk of exposure but we believe it is minimal . We may be right we may be wrong .
