Dads, don’t let your daughters wear thong bikinis on the beach!
Just returned from Maui. Lots of young ladies in thong bikinis. I’m so lucky to only have sons. Don’t have to fight with daughters who think it’s ok to wear a cloth dental floss. When I was dating my would-be wife, she’d wear a modest swimsuit which left lots to the imagination. Stimulating without being slutty. Maybe I’m old?

I was 15 years old and living in Hawaii when I got into photography. For some unexplained reason I seem to have photographed a LOT of bikini clad ladies. There was a fresh crop of new girls every week, and I found it difficult to concentrate on the landscape and pretty scenery of the island with the skimpy bikinis of the tourists. For some reason I was never offended by small bikinis.

I’m fortunate to have a wife who keeps the 14 year old daughter in modest bikinis. Not sure if she would otherwise tend that way but I don’t want to find out.
This thread reminds me of a conversation that I had with a friend one time. He liked to eat at Twin Peaks until one of his daughter’s friends was his waitress. That took some of the fun out of it.

Considering average body mass these days, that seems like a reasonable request.
And uh it forces a bit of life priorities...as in "hey my brain is up here". (I too admit clicking on this thread for all the wrong reasons)

I saw a mother daughter paddle board couple wearing tiny thong bikinis while I was fishing. They both looked great. I wasn’t mad about any of it. I didn’t make a big deal about it either other than an appreciative lingering glance. Kudos to them for winning the gene lotto.

wow. i am in agreement with Island!! (not his ubiquitous-facemask jab tho)
i think we make a big deal out of it. it isnt like the days where women cannot show ankle skin. i imagine that the thought process back then was that the woman's intimate bits are for the husband only (?). that is kinda possessive no? faack it. more power to them. those women bits have turned me into an idiot in my past. it has power. show off whatever they are comfortable with. doesnt make them sluts. not in my opinion. it doesnt degrade them in the least.
