Enough with the practical
Vash's Prius shopping thread with posts suggesting there is a certain, ah, "maturing" among us. Thinking practicality when it comes to cars. Nothing wrong with that, especially when considering daily driver cars. Actually admirable to see guys here getting into logical thinking.
But for the opposite? Here's one in the totally opposite thinking on BAT. Flat crank V-8, 526 horsepower, Tremec 6 speed, Torsen limited slip rear end, fully independent suspension, well, you've read of it before... https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2015-ford-shelby-gt350-f0054-tech-package/

Nice! I'd never buy it, but I like it. Can't believe it's a six year old car.

I'll confess to having been briefly tempted...before reminding myself that I'm thinking of selling my current Mustang because my left foot has a snapped tendon making for problematic clutch working.
Yeah...hard to believe how fast time goes...

That's kinda what I'm holding out for...funny you mentioned that. The new dual clutch 10 speed tremec available in the mach one sounds good to me. "Only" 480 normally aspirated horsepower should carry me to the favorite pool hall & back home okay.
There was one at the Salem dealership...but with $10K additional dealer markup tacked on. I won't play that game. I realize it's just biz..the dealer has every right to ask it, but I have the right to say no. I can wait..

Not that I'm going to spend that kind of money on a mustang or any car any time soon, but that's a heck of a car. I'd drive one of those.

Maybe what you really needed was a Boxster.

Guys with sensible shoes and range limited issues really need to stay in the right hand lane.

The GT350 as a used car strikes me as a lot of special for the money. I’d really like to drive one. No way I’d pay a premium for one with 150 miles though, there are plenty of low mileage used examples out there for $40k.
