Why so many check points? It's like 1/2 the countries population are employed by the government. Just like here!

She is a courageous adventurer and has unlimited patience for all of the silly checkpoints and escorts but it only takes one bad dude and it is game over. I worry about her as if she was one of my own daughters.

I have extensive middle east experience (lived and worked there) and she has bigger balls than most folks. I have been to every country over there except for Yemen & Iran and it seems not to bother her. Really hope she does not have any issues over there.
