Rest in Peace Rudy :-(
From his daughter.
To be absent from the body is to present with the Lord. What may seem like a loss to many is really a win for our dad, he didn’t lose his fight today- instead he got to change his cross for a crown. He is now walking streets of gold hand in hand with Radyn & Jesus. Please keep our family in your prayers as we walk through this. https://youtu.be/qPjv3anrEyg Rudy Manseenus sadly passed away August 11, 2021 from Covid complications. Manseenus was described as super humble and down to earth who loved car collections and talked about cars.

FYI his surname is "Mancinas" not Manseenus..he revised the spelling to be funny on social media..part of his fun personality.
I can't believe he is no longer with us. I was so hoping that I would wake up to read he was out of hospital and back to good health. The news from two nights ago is devastating, he was so young and had so much life to still live. He was only a few years older than me. He passed away with complications arising from Covid 19. For those who are not vaccinated, please seriously re-consider. This is real. I did not know Rudy as well as others but we had talked on and off. I had not seen Rudy in a few years and thinking back it was at CnC in here in Houston where we chatted last, back in 2019. We were trying to get together to talk air cools for a few hours but our schedules never quite meshed. This really makes my heart heavy and deeply saddening as we all know what a great person he is and how he loved his family. It is touching to read all the love he is receiving and support for the family. We lost a great person, with passion, humility all while being so genuine. Rest in Peace Rudy, wide open throttle my friend. To those unfamiliar he had an impressive air cooled collection (911, 964 and 993) and an equally impressive BMW collection with 2002s, E30 M3s and a few later models. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPjv3anrEyg ![]()

Good god...that's where all of the BMW 2002s went!
![]() Not to mention a lot of the 964s and 993s. I did not catch the date stamp on that video but he actually made a good investment if it was several years ago. Either way, he was obviously a rich guy. Which brings us to another point. I'm sure that he had access to the best medical care available, other than having the bad luck to live in Texas during the incredible surge of cases there right now and over-stressed hospitals. You cannot buy your way out of this one, get vaccinated immediately if you are not already. Zero percent, or an infinitesimal fraction of people winding up in the hospital and/or dying are vaccinated. We have a deadly epidemic amongst the unvaccinated in this country right now. RIP. ![]()

That was from his daughter man. I'd think a bit less judgement of how folks respond to grief and a bit more compassion is called for. RIP Rudy. So sorry for your family.
