I think Cirque du Soleil "O" is the best. The Beatles LOVE is also great.

There is a ski area that operates lifts during the summer. Not sure if it is operating this year.

Valley of Fire is a great drive . Red rock Canyon is also fun but shorter unless you follow the road up to Spring mountain state park. Calico junction ( or may crossing ) just off of Red Rock is also a short detour that might interest you . As someone else mentioned MT Charleston lodge is at 8400 foot elevation and Lee canyon ski area is the next canyon over.

I don't gamble either but if I'd traveled all the way to LV from MA, I'd take $20 and go play some nickle slots if they still have those, and play until it was gone.
Best time I ever had gambling was way back in '78. My brother and I went to Hot August Nights in Reno on a late whim. Couldn't find a room so we headed south. Ended up in Carson City. Checked into a Travel Lodge and found coupons for $5 worth of 'money' from various casinos in town. We went and gambled on that money. Went from casino to casino, getting the 'money' and playing till it ran out or we won. Got down to our last $3 and put into a $1 slot that was right in front of the main door entrance and hit a $100 jackpot. We erupted like we'd won a million $'s. Cashed in the winnings as that paid for the trip. Good times playing with other peoples money.

Take a drive up to Bryce Canyon. Its worth the 2 hour drive. have lunch at the village or downtown area before you go into the park. Its very nice there.
Hit the museums downtown. I heat the Atomic and the Mob museum is worth the visit. go downtown and check out the freaks at night. It kinda of fun and different and you wouldn't see that anywhere else. |

Yes, Tabs is always on for a night out. Plus he knows where to go.
You say you are not into gambling. You haven't really been to Vegas unless you've lost ur money in the casino. |
