"VEGA$"! Robert Ulrich as Dan Tanna!

Last night watching a Family Feud episode from 2019 w/Steve Harvey. Guy's funnier than all get out.

Found it on YT:

I just finished the Wednesday series on Netflix. The lead actress plays Wednesday Addams perfectly not to mention she’s really cute (can I say that if she doesn’t meet the half my age plus 7 rule?). It’s a little hokey but I liked it.

I bought an antenna so I could get those channels, Nash Bridges Monday, Vegas on Tuesday, plus daily episodes of Kojak and Rockford files, not to mention Thursday and Friday day shows. I wish had had known about this when I was laid up.

S3 of Jack Ryan is MUCH better than S2 was (that was a turd in terms of suspension of disbelief), about on par with S1.
"His dark materials" is also back but kinda "meh" - but final season so might as well. JAmes Macavoy is a good actor!
I highly recommend a sidetrip to Youtube and 4 seasons of "The road to Le mans" with Michael Fassbender.

The White Lotus is very good. Comedy set at a high-end resort in Hawaii. Interesting soundtrack.

Twilight Zone.

Episode set in the year 2000, where a girl can get a transformation with a beautiful face and body. Talk about prophetic...

My wife and I are re-watching all the Longmire episodes. We saw the original 3 seasons when they were new, but decided to just start over and watch all 6 seasons, usually two episodes per evening.

I told her to give up on the endless murder investigation shows, she watches and we can do Longmire, then do several movie franchises in order. With college football season almost over, she will have more watching time. She insisted I watch the Ohio State vs Georgia game with her. It was an high scoring game and last minute win. Still boring as heck watching large men playing a kids game with a ball.

My wife gave me the Longmire collection for Christmas. Great TV. Very hard to turn off and save some for tomorrow.

Finished The Race of the Century on Netflix. Story of the 1983 America’s Cup race. A fantastic story.

Watched the last episode of Slow Horses last night. Now I have the long wait for season 3. The White Lotus, not so much.

Three Pines on Amazon is really good. Eight 2 hour episodes for the season, 4 cases. Alfred Molina is really good as the Chief Investigator.

Thanks for the tip. Just watched the first 2 episodes ("Whiteout") and it's got us hooked. Alfred Molina is great (I always thought he would make a good Hercule Poirot) and it was nice to see Tantoo Cardinal, I always liked her on Longmire.

Looking forward to the other episodes, this series has legs.

craigster59 01-10-2023 07:21 PM

Watching a mystery series "The Stranger". Looks Brit or Irish. Really well done, pulled me in. Now I just need to find out how they pull this whole tangled story mess together. I'm hooked.

So much that is dead-on about the high end culinary world. Most excellent. Watch it now!
